Ilene Mandell, the founder of IMpact Life Transition Advocates is a seasoned marketing professional with a multi-industry and non-profit background.
Prior to establishing IMpact, Ilene served as the Medical Outreach Manager at the Make-A-Wish® Foundation of Metro New York and Western New York, where she drove the organization’s strategic plan for medical outreach. Her efforts there resulted in strong collaborations with hospitals and medical centers that dramatically increased the number of children eligible to have their most heartfelt wishes granted.
Ilene had previously held the position of Marketing Director for the Stepic Medical Corporation, a major distributor of critical care products, where she developed and implemented large-scale direct marketing programs.
She was also the founder of the Mandell Agency where she represented high-end, award winning corporate photographers and produced annual reports.
Ilene rose from an entry level position at Conde Nast Publications to the Editor of Merchandise Credits at Vogue Magazine. Ilene currently lives on the upper east side of Manhattan, has served on her cooperative board, the boards of Children’s International Summer Villages and the Sickle Cell Advisory Consortium. She is currently an active member of the Alliance of Professional Health Advocates and manages her late husband’s scholarship fund.
